New Sports Venture
I was pretty happy with the most recent sports banners I had designed for Wautoma High School, so I shared a few of them in a sports photography group I have been part of for years.... within a few hours of posting, I had a comment and an email from another photographer asking if I did my own templates and if I would be willing to talk. I figured, "why not" and told him I would have time to chat the next day.
Turns out, the photographer (Andy) is from Verona, Wisconsin, about 35-40 minutes away from our new home in Monroe. We talked about sports and senior photos, how we both run our businesses and what we both are able to offer and decided to meet and discuss things further.
We both truly enjoy sports photography and working with local schools and students to help capture these memories, not only for them, but for their parents as well. We met this past Friday and decided to team up in the sports photography world to be able to offer more to our clients and potentially reach more people as well.
On Sunday, we began the new collaboration and have already produced digital products from the session. Andy took the photos and I finished things out on the digital end. From what we have heard so far, parents are already enjoying our work.
I may not have been completely on board with moving to the Madison area when Chris accepted his new job, but it was definitely a good move for all of us. I am looking forward to seeing where this new business venture will take both Memorable Times Photography and Andy Slawek Photography!
Thank you Andy, for taking the chance on me!
Our first digital collaboration!
